Blackhead Removal Mud Mask from Glam Essentials

I just started using this new mud mask last week and I’m loving it so far, I feel like it’s going to be the best mud mask I’ve ever tried! It came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. The packaging is nice and I have to say.. I LOVE the scent! Most mud masks smell earthy or just strange and chemically but this one smells minty and fresh, it’s AMAZING! The consistency is pretty similar to other mud masks I’ve used and it wears similarly. It’s really easy to get off too which is always appreciated because I hate trying to scrub bad masks off my face. I’ve only been using this mask for a little over a week so I can’t tell you my full opinion on it yet but my skin definitely looks better after using it. I’ve noticed less blackheads and I actually think I’m starting to notice my pores shrinking which is amazing. I’m really loving it so far so I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good affordable mud mask! Let me know if you want an updated review after I’ve used the whole jar!

5 Pack of Assorted Sheet Masks from WHEN

I just got the most awesome face masks from When!! They came in a five pack and I’m so excited to try them all out. They came on time, very nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. The first thing I thought when I got them was “How CUTE!!” The packaging is adorable and right fits perfectly with my aesthetic, we were definitely a match made in heaven with all of these adorable colors.

Honestly, though.. who cares what a face mask looks like on the outside (except me)? As long as the product does what it says, I’m happy and it really does that and more! Usually you can’t really tell too much of a difference after using a mask, if anything your skin just feels hydrated but these are so much better! At least the few I tried have been, I’m still not finished with the whole set. They’re different from most other sheet masks I’ve tried in the past because they’re very thin and soft. Usually sheet masks have a thick, opaque paper that’s drenched in skincare ingredients but this one is very thin and I really like that because a) you look less wild and b) it helps it to stick to your face a lot better so you can get up and move around while you’re wearing it.

The website says it’s not actually paper, it’s a bio-cellulose sheet which is “a soft, gentle material made from coconuts that is highly effective in delivering nutrients to skin.” And they smell good too so it’s a really pleasant experience to use them overall. The best part is, they’re all tailor made to fit your needs at the time. For example, I’m generally a pretty oily person and don’t need a lot of hydration but sometimes if I’ve gotten very little sleep or used a drying mask on my face my skin feels really stripped.

So I would probably reach for the “Last Choice” mask because it’s a deep skin hydrating mask. And if I’m under a lot of stress or I’ve been out in the sun a lot? I could reach for the “Travelmate” mask because it helps rehelps rejuvenate, repair and soothe the skin after exposure to stress, UV rays, the wind and dry air. They even have a mask called the “Glamour Base” which is specifically designed to be worn before you do your makeup and it doubles as a primer! Here’s a list of every mask that comes in the 5-pack set:

Enriched with Hydrolyzed Collagen that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps skin hold onto moisture. Serum contains Hyaluronic Acid to protect and aid hydration, Ginseng Extracts to keep skin look healthy and glowing.

Enriched with Adenosine to help smooth the skin and improve skin elasticity. It’s perfect as a makeup primer.Peptide-rich serum to aid in collagen production, improving skin firming.

Serum is enriched with Swiss Alpine Herb Extract which helps rejuvenate, repair and soothe the skin after exposure to stress. Chamomile Flower Water soothes and refreshes your skin from UV rays, the wind and dry air.

Enriched with Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) to reduce hyperpigmentation, brighten the skin, and retain moisture. Aloe Vera Leaf Extract act as a protective layer on skin and helps replenish its moisture.

Key ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid and Saccharide Isomerate providing skin with extra hydration.

There’s honestly something for every one and every situation in this set and I kind of want 20 more so I can use them three times a week, lol. Obviously I’m really happy with them so far and I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone out there looking for a good, new face mask to try out!

Jonre Anti-Aging Moisturizer & Night Cream

I’ve been using this cream for a few weeks now and I really love it, especially for my neck! It came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. I’m obsessed with the packaging, first of all. It’s kind of a lime-green or lime-yellow color which happens to be my favorite color and it has a cute silver lid, I love it. It doesn’t have a pump which is always a bummer because it’s a bit more difficult to get the right amount for my skin but if you have dry skin that wouldn’t be a problem. I have oily skin so I only use a dime-nickel sized amount and it covers my entire face and neck. It spreads out evenly and smoothly, doesn’t irritate my skin, and leaves my skin feeling super hydrated without any oiliness or stickiness. I love the way it smells too, it’s definitely got a citrus scent so if you like the smell of oranges and lemons you’ll love this! It’s not too overpowering though so it shouldn’t be an issue for anyone. I’ve been using this every other night because it’s pretty heavy duty but I’ve been using it twice a day on my neck because it’s the PERFECT neck moisturizer to combat neck wrinkles and sagging. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a great moisturizer or night cream!

Activated Charcoal Konjac Sponge from Pooter’s Cache

I just got this all natural konjac sponge from Pooter’s Cache and I really love it so far! It came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. I’ve been using konjac sponges for years now because they do such a great job at gently exfoliating my skin without adding a bunch of germs. For those of you who don’t know about konjac sponges, they basically cleanse your face (or body, anywhere really!). They remove everything on your face gently including dirt, excess oils, flaky skin, blackheads, etc.

They’re similar to a beauty blender because when you get them they’re small but when you run them under water they expand 2-3X their original size. The great thing about this konjac sponge is that you don’t have to use a cleanser with it! It naturally cleanses your skin so if you’ve run out of cleanser or you just don’t like using harsh chemicals on your face this would be perfect for you! Personally, I love cleansers so I usually use one with my sponge and that works great too! I’m super happy with this sponge and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s never tried one, it’s great!

C-ESTA Vitamin C Face Serum from Jan Marini

Okay let me start out this post by saying this… if you’re a long time follower of this blog, my social channels, or are someone who knows me personally, you KNOW how many Vitamin C serums I’ve tried in the quest to get the kind of results that the descriptions always boast. Don’t get me wrong, I love Vitamin C serums and honestly I’ve never used one I hated, but I’ve never used one I fell madly in love with either until now. This is hands down, 100% the best Vitamin C serum I’ve EVER used!

Now that that’s out of the way, lets get down to the boring stuff. It came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. The packaging was actually exceptionally nice because it came in a box and inside was the serum wrapped in an adorable white bag with a bow on it and a personal, handwritten note from the brand which I thought was so nice! The packaging of the actual serum is awesome too. Most Vitamin C serums come in one of those little glass bottles and have a dropper and while I don’t mind a dropper, I’d much rather use something like a pump or a spray because you can control it better and it’s more sanitary and this one came with a nice pump! It works great and dispenses the exact amount of product I need to cover my whole face and neck (thinly.. use sparingly, you don’t need a lot, trust me!) every single time.

The serum itself is  unlike most other vitamin c serums I’ve tried, too because the consistency and scent were definitely different. When the product first came out I was concerned because it was a bit thin and when I rubbed it between my fingers it almost felt a little grainy. Not like a scrub or something but something slightly gritty. I was worried that maybe my serum was damaged by the heat while it was shipping but I looked it up online and (thankfully) everyone describes the same texture so it’s supposed to be like that! It ended up being a non-issue, though, because as soon as I started applying it to my face everything just dissolved and sunk right into my skin so beautifully. There was no grainy residue left behind at all, everything was soaked right up! The scent is kind of hard to describe. It’s kind of sweet like flowers but also I feel like I can detect some sort of citrus in it. It’s hard to tell because the scent is very faint which is actually a plus for me because I don’t like my skincare product scents to be anything overpowering or unpleasant, obviously. When you apply it to the skin it really does apply so smoothly. Like I said, one pump will spread quickly and easily all over your face and neck because the consistency is so water-like and lightweight. Then once I start pressing it into my skin it absorbs SO fast and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or sticky which I appreciate but it still somehow LOOKS a little wet and Dewey. It looks like I’ve applied a beautiful hydrating balm but without the feeling which is AWESOME because I have oily skin so I don’t want any residue left on my face that is going to add to excess oils. It also didn’t irritate my skin at all (but, to be fare.. I don’t have sensitive skin by any means).

Honestly, I was only hoping for something that would help combat discoloration and an uneven skin tone and that’s it. I don’t have too many expression lines yet, really. Only under the eyes and faint lines around my mouth (and I don’t like to apply products under my eyes) so I can’t attest to whether or not it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles too much. I do feel like the ones around my mouth are looking better under makeup lately which probably means it’s doing some significant work which is awesome. But it really has helped a great deal with the overall appearance of my skin tone and it definitely hydrates and brightens the face. You can actually SEE a slight change immediately after you apply it. My face just looks so much healthier and hydrated after I apply this so I LOVE to use it in the mornings, especially on no makeup days because your skin will look so bomb. I can’t wait to keep using this and trying this out in different ways, I love it and I would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone!

Collagen Skin Treatment Face Masks from iBeautyLabs

I just got the most AMAZING face masks from iBeautyLabs!! They’re so cute, they’re purple and orange! And not only are they cute, but they’ve got a lot of awesome ingredients for your face so they make YOU cute too! They came on time, very nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online.

The first thing I thought when I got them was “Oh my god… that’s a lot of liquid in there, how am I supposed to put these on my face without getting soaked??” but it really isn’t that difficult. I slid everything out into a bowl and brought the bowl to bed with me. Then, I put them on my face while I was lying down and nothing got messy at all so I was really pleased with that!

They feel really great on your face, too. They’re not like those paper sheet masks so they’re not thin and papery feeling. I don’t know what they’re made of but they’re jiggly like jello which a) feels awesome and b) makes them really easy to adhere to your face. When they were on I was actually able to get up and move around without them falling off which is cool. After I took them off my face felt SO much softer and more hydrated, it was amazing.

Usually you can’t really tell much of a difference after using a mask, if anything your skin just feels hydrated but these are so much better! And they smell good too so it’s really such a pleasant experience to use them, I would definitely do it again! The best part is, they come in a bunch of different colors so now I want to try out the whole range!! I’m really happy with them so far (obviously) and I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone out there looking for a good, new face mask to try out!

PHL Naturals Anti Aging Face Cream Moisturizer

So I just started using this new anti-aging moisturizer from PHL Naturals and I’m really loving it so far! It came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. I’m always looking for a good moisturizer so I was really excited to try this out, especially because I’ve never tried any of their products but I’ve heard good things and the reviews on this one are great! I love the packaging for this product because it has a pump dispenser unlike a lot of moisturizers that come in a pot. With a pump, you don’t contaminate the rest of the product after every use which is awesome because you doing want to be putting bacteria on your face right after you wash it. The actual moisturizer is a medium consistency and smells nice, in my opinion. I can’t really pinpoint what the scent is but it smells natural and fresh. It goes on smoothly and you don’t need much at all, a little goes a long way. It absorbs very quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy. It also doesn’t irritate my skin at all which I love. I tried it under my makeup this morning, too, and it held up really nicely! Sometimes moisturizers cause your makeup to look oily or (the worst thing) cause it to separate, slide off, or bunch up but this works great with makeup! So far it hasn’t caused any excess oils to produce or made me break out so that’s good too. I haven’t used it long enough to notice any huge results but I do know that my face feels tighter after I use it without feeling stripped. So far I’m totally loving it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good moisturizer!
