VOGCREST about two weeks ago and I’m OBSESSED, I don’t think I’ll ever use anything else to wash my face ever again. Previously I had tried face scrubbers, silicone exfoliators, konjac sponges, etc. and NONE of them even come close to comparing with a face brush. Before I get into it I want to note that it came on time, very nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. I was worried that the brush would be too rough because I’ve tried manual face brushes before and they were, but this isn’t. I was amazed at how soft it was. For those of you who use makeup, think about the first time you used a nice makeup brush from Mac after using cheap brushes you picked up at Dollar General from some off brand!I started using this 3-in-1 facial cleansing brush from
I’ve been a member of Influenster since August 2016 and so far I’ve had a lot of fun reviewing products and unlocking badges. I’ve received a few samples, too! But this month I was sent a huge voxbox that I’m so excited about! If you’re not familiar with Influenster, a select number of people are pre-qualified (based on their profiles and activity) for Voxbox surveys. If you take the survey and you’re qualified for the box, they add you to their list. Then, once they’ve decided who they want to send the box to, they send you an email telling you that you were approved and your box is on the way! My box arrived and it was full of SO MANY goodies and I’m SO excited to have been approved and be able to review these products!
Okay let me start out this post by saying this… if you’re a long time follower of this blog, my social channels, or are someone who knows me personally, you KNOW how many moisturizers I’ve tried in the quest to get the kind of results that the descriptions always boast. Don’t get me wrong, I love moisturizers and honestly I’ve never used one I hated (okay.. maybe one or two), but I’ve never used one I fell madly in love with either until now. This is hands down, 100% the best moisturizer I’ve EVER used, I love it! Now that that’s out of the way, lets get down to the boring stuff. It came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. The packaging was incredibly nice, as always. I’ve tried out quite a few Exuviance products in the past and their packaging is something I always except to be great.
I just started using these face masks from Masked Beauty Skincare a few weeks ago and I’m loving them so far! I had never heard of Masked Beauty before so I was super excited to try something from them. They ended up sending me their Purifying Charcoal & Diamond Face Mask, their Exfoliating Coffee & Chocolate Face Mask, and their silicone mask applicator which I’m in love with. They came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. The packaging is nice, especially the flip tops! Normally masks come in a jar with a twist off cap which is fine but can be a little inconvenient. The other option is a squeeze tube which is usually pretty messy so having these caps has been really nice and I have to say.. I LOVE the scents! Most face masks I’ve tried smell earthy or just strange and chemically but these ones smell amazing but the scents don’t smell too artificial which is good. Neither of them are overpowering scents, they’re light and fresh which is really pleasant.
As with every skincare product review, I’m going to start off by letting you know what skin type I have so you can keep that in mind when you’re listening to me talk about how well a product performed for me because I feel like that’s always important to know. I have combination skin that is definitely acne prone. I’m oily to normal but definitely lean more towards oily depending on the day and what products I’m using. I tend to shy away from most sun screen products because they always seem to break me out. Maybe it’s the ingredients, maybe it’s the fact that they’re usually very thick and block my pores, I’m not sure.. but this Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 33 from Jan Marini has been a miracle for me because I haven’t had any issues like that! Now that that’s out of the way, lets get down to the boring stuff. It came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. Inside of the shipping container was the tube of SPF in a box wrapped in an adorable white bag with a bow on it and a personal, handwritten note from the brand which I think is super cute. I’ve tried quite a few products from Jan Marini now and I’ve come to expect great packaging from them so it’s hardly worth mentioning if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile because I’m sure you’re sick of hearing me rave about the look and feel of Marini packaging, so I’ll leave it at that and move on, haha.
